ILA is my new go-to place for grabbing a bite when i am craving Arabic cuisine. The restaurant opened its doors 5 years ago at one of the most popular locations in Dubai … Al Seef.
The first thing that catches your eye after entering the restaurant is a chandelier of the beautiful Turkish lamps. ILA offers contemporary dining which a breathtaking view of Dubai’s historic creek, which is especially attractive during sunset. Enjoy dining in a relaxing ambiance by the Dubai creek, which is also an ideal location for dining out during winter. You could also simply wind down in the evening over shisha and beverages after a busy day at work.
Both indoor and outdoor seating options are available. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive.

The restaurant has partnered with Just Vegan, which serves a comprehensive menu comprising of vegan options.
We started off by order shisha (selected watermelon mint, one of my all-time favorite). The drag was smooth with the right amount of flavor and coal. A reasonable amount of flavors is available, and shisha is priced economically.

Chicken Mushroom Soup: Loved the creamy texture
Fattoush: Always my favorite. A light and refreshing salad with baked khaboos that gives it a great crunch
Grilled Kofta: Loved the presentation on a smoking grill. The lamb was juicy and tender
Battata Harra: I’m a potato lover and battata harra is one of my favorite Arabic appetizers. The flavorful potatoes were crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside
Spaghetti Bolognese: I usually prefer thick spaghetti, and this was just the right thickness. The sauce was delectable with the perfect quantity of mince and cheese
Can’t complete your meal without the traditional Kunafa! Topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream made it more delicious.
Moroccan Tea: We flushed down the traditional Moroccan tea, which was much required after devouring the delicious meal
Beverages: Both fruit cocktail and watermelon juice were freshly prepared and equally delicious
